Nawaz Sharif to get a rousing homecoming

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif is returning to Pakistan today (Saturday) after a four-year-long self-imposed exile in London ahead of general elections.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has issued the schedule of Nawaz Sharif’s chartered plane FZ 425 that is due to land in Islamabad today.
The notification stated that the chartered plane will depart for Islamabad from Dubai at 9:25 and land at the Islamabad International Airport at 12:30 pm. After staying at the Islamabad airport for two hours, Sharif will depart for Lahore.
The chartered flight would land at the Lahore airport at 3:20 pm where he would be accorded a warm welcome. The Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) acquired the services of a private airline for a Boeing 737 chartered plane for the former premier.
Nawaz Sharif is scheduled to address a public meeting at Minar-e-Pakistan in the evening

Irfan Siddiqui while talking to HUM News said Nawaz Sharif’s speech upon his return will not be overly lengthy. He emphasized that there is no intention of confrontation in Nawaz Sharif’s politics; rather, the focus is on development and the welfare of the people.
Siddiqui further highlighted Nawaz Sharif’s consistent emphasis on progress, including infrastructure development such as highways and motorways. He underscored that even in the face of challenges, Nawaz Sharif typically avoids confrontation.
Nawaz Sharif’s return has sparked significant interest and speculation, and his impending speech is eagerly anticipated.
