Nawaz Sharif to start campaigning this week

ISLAMABAD: Nawaz Sharif is set to kick off the PML-N election campaign next week in light of the official announcement of the election date.
The Election Commission of Pakistan announced that polls will be held on Feb 8, 2024.
Gearing up the election campaign the former prime minister intends to travel throughout Pakistan, commencing with a public rally in Mansehra after November 10, according to sources within the PML-N.
Additionally, he has plans to conduct meetings with leaders from various political parties.

Upon returning to Lahore, Nawaz Sharif addressed a sizable crowd of PML-N supporters and workers.
During his speech, he expressed his deep affection for the Pakistani people and emphasized his commitment to national prosperity over the pursuit of vengeance. He made a pledge to rescue Pakistan from its economic challenges.
The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, his political party, is confident in its ability to secure victory in the upcoming general elections, and Nawaz Sharif aims to serve as Pakistan’s prime minister for a fourth term.
His presence in Pakistan has injected new energy into the party and bolstered the morale of its members.
