Nawaz-Zardari discuss host of issues at Dubai rendezvous

ISLAMABAD: A significant rendezvous unfolded in Dubai as Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz supremo Nawaz and Pakistan People’s Party Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari held a crucial meeting to discuss a host of issues including the holding of the next general election in the country.

According to media reports, both the leaders discussed a host of issues including the dissolution of assemblies, the formation of an interim government and seat adjustments. The two leaders also discussed the prevailing political situation and future courses of action.

During the meeting, the matter of Nawaz Sharif’s return to the country also came under discussion.

According to sources, both the leaders agreed to hold such meetings in the future. Sources claimed that leaders from both parties intend to convene once again after Eidul Azha.

PML-N chief organiser Maryam Nawaz and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto were also present during the meeting
