WEB DESK: The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued a smog warning for coming days in Southern and central Punjab

The NDMA has issued a warning regarding the potential impact of smog on South Punjab in the upcoming days. Residents are strongly advised to take precautionary measures, including limiting travel and wearing masks.

Over the past three weeks, the residents of Lahore, Gujranwala, Sheikhupura, and Kasur endured the detrimental effects of toxic smog. The provincial capital, Lahore, has even been ranked among the most polluted cities globally. It is imperative that residents remain vigilant, follow the guidelines provided by authorities, and prioritize their health and well-being in the face of this environmental challenge.
