Near zero visibility in Islamabad as dense fog blankets city

ISLMABAD: Near zero visibility has been reported in several areas of Islamabad and Rawalpindi as dense fog blankets the city on Saturday.

The fog is reported in various areas of the twin cities, including F Sectors, G Sectors, Faziya Colony, Bahria town, Khana Pull, and nearby areas.

The traffic flow in the twin cities is being disrupted by dense fog, leading to the removal of barriers at multiple police checkposts to prevent potential accidents. This measure is aimed at addressing the low visibility conditions and minimizing the risk of motorists colliding with barriers during their commute.

The dense fog is not only impacting roadways but also presenting challenges for residents navigating through their neighborhoods.
