NEPRA jacks up electricity price for K-Electric consumers by Rs3.3 per unit

ISLAMABAD: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) on Friday jacked up electricity prices for Karachi-Electric consumers by Rs3.3 per unit

The K-Electric in July had demanded an increase of Rs3.09 per unit in its monthly adjustment.

The NEPRA issued the notification of the increase for the month of July for K-electric consumers under the montly adjustment.

The recovery from K-Electic customers will be made in December 2024 bills. Earlier, the K-Electric submitted a request to NEPRA for a reduction of 16 paise per unit in electricity price for the monthly fuel adjustment for the month of September.
