Netflix is adding more than 40 new movies, shows and specials this week, but most of them are unlikely to cut through.
One title, however, is already pulling ahead.
XO, Kitty set to take over Netflix
XO, Kitty season 3 is shaping up to be the biggest release of the week, with the hit spin-off from To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before expected to surge straight into the top 10.
The series follows Kitty Song-Covey as she heads into her final year of school, with her love life becoming more complicated than ever.
It begins streaming on April 2 and is likely to dominate conversation almost immediately.
A dating show that is quietly winning
While it may not generate the same hype, Love on the Spectrum season 4 is one of Netflix’s most quietly successful series.
Returning on April 1, the show follows people on the autism spectrum navigating relationships, offering a more grounded and emotional take than typical dating formats.
It continues to build a loyal audience with each new season.
The rest of the drop gets crowded
Beyond those two, the week’s releases are packed but less essential.
Untold: The Death and Life of Lamar Odom revisits the former NBA star’s rise and his widely reported 2015 overdose, tapping into ongoing interest in sports documentaries.
Comedy fans get two new specials, Aaron Chen: Funny Garden and Sarah Millican: Late Bloomer, while true crime viewers have The Truth and Tragedy of Moriah Wilson.
For lighter viewing, The Bad Guys: The Series season 2 brings back its animated heist crew.
