New professional dancers join Strictly Come Dancing 2026 lineup

LONDON: A new brand of individuals have been revealed by the BBC Entertainment who will join the professional dancers for the upcoming Strictly Come Dancing lineup, taking place later this year.
The development came after five of the old group of the dancers left the Strictly Come Dancing, however a new brand of dancers has been added and the preparation for the event are underway.

The BBC Entertainment revealed Karen Hauer, who left the lineup after a period of 14 years and was the the longest-serving female pro, might also be accompanied by other entertainers. They include Gorka Marquez, Nadiya Bychkova, Luba Mushtuk and Michelle Tsiakkas, however the BBC has yet to confirm their departure from the group.
Keeping latest series that attracted an average audience of 7.8m viewers, the BBC also revealed that Judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke will all return. However, fans of the show are still waiting to get a confirmed update on their joining with the group. “There’s still no news about who will replace Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly as hosts.”

The BBC said 15 of the 20 professionals from last year would return for the next series.
Regarding the in-coming new professionals, the BBC said that the returning Professional Dancers are not only dynamic and world class roster but are also the top fresh talent from the international dance world.

Fans believe this inclusion will bring exciting mix of experience with them and expect them of showmanship to the Strictly ballroom.
