New rain spell forecast in KP from July 16 to 21

PESHAWAR: The Regional Meteorological Department has predicted a new spell of rain in most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from July 16 to 21, 2024.

According to details, KP districts including Dir, Chitral, Kohistan, Swat, Malakand, Bajaur, Shangla, Batagram, Buner, Kohat, Mohmand, DI Khan, Khyber, Haripur, Mansehra, Peshawar, Abbottabad, Bannu, Waziristan, Kurram, and others will receive rain during these days.

A notification issued by the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) on Monday stated that Regional Met Office Peshawar had informed that a new spell of rains was starting for which people were urged to take all precautionary measures to avoid any loss of life, damage to infrastructure, crops and animals.

Furthermore, all authorities concerned asked to take safety measures.

Tourists are to be informed about weather forecasts, ensure availability of all emergency services staff and machinery and other resources, and all concerned line departments to remain vigilant in restoring road links.
