Nine more arrested in MDCAT test leak case

PESHAWAR: Nine people have been arrested for leaking Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) using Bluetooth, sources said.

The arrests came before the MDCAT test, on grounds of suspicious registrations. Nine candidates had registered with the same mobile phone number, including a 46-year-old man.

Over a 100 people have been arrested so far on the charges of cheating in MDCAT test, police sources said.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA) has already informed all the commissioners about the planned cheating in the test. ETEA also informed that the news of the test having been leaked has also circulating on social media.
