No wheat crisis in Punjab: CM Maryam

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has declared that there is no wheat crisis in the province and the government has stopped corruption in the process of wheat procurement.

While addressing an event in Phoolnagar on Thursday, Maryam Nawaz said that every farmer will get Rs150,000 through a Kisan Card as the government is readying a package for farmers worth Rs400 billion in the next four months.

“Maryam Nawaz stands for the cheap roti for 130 million people,” she said and added “In times to come, no one will be more prosperous than the farmers.

The CM said that farmers will be given machinery so that their hands do not get cut off. Maryam Nawaz further said that no road will be broken in Punjab after 5 years and the process of repairing roads in Punjab has started. INP
