OGDCL posts Rs242.37bn profit, announces Rs17 per share annual dividend

ISLAMABAD: The state-owned entity, Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), reported a profit after tax of Rs242.37 billion for the financial year 2025-26 and announced a final cash dividend of Rs6 per share, according to a company spokesperson.
The company said its annual sales revenue stood at Rs449.19 billion, while earnings per share amounted to Rs56.35.
OGDCL also announced a total annual dividend of Rs17 per share, described as the highest annual dividend in the company’s history.
The company said that it contributed Rs187 billion to the national exchequer during the financial year and saved $3.31 billion in foreign exchange through its operations.
During the year, OGDCL discovered nine new oil and gas reserves, while its reserve replacement ratio stood at 236 per cent.
The company reported average daily oil production of 32,861 barrels, gas production of 667 million cubic feet per day (MMscfd) and LPG production of 670 metric tonnes during FY2025-26.
OGDCL said its financial size had reached Rs1.44 trillion.
