OGRA notifies increase in LPG prices

ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Saturday notified an increase in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices, with a rise of Rs6.99 per kilogramme, setting the new rate at Rs243.99 per kilogramme.

The cost of a domestic LPG cylinder has been raised by Rs82.54, bringing the price of an 11.8 kg domestic cylinder to Rs2,879. This adjustment reflects the latest changes in the LPG pricing structure as outlined by OGRA.

Separately, the government on Saturday reduced the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs1.86 and Rs3.32 per litre respectively, for the first two weeks of September.

After the reduction of petrol prices in Pakistan on August 31, the new price of petrol from September 1 will be Rs259.10 per litre, while the price of diesel has been set at Rs262.75 per litre.
