Operation Ghazab lil-Haq continues as Afghan Taliban propaganda exposed online

Pakistan continues military operation against Afghan Taliban positions: security sources

As Pakistan Army’s Operation Ghazab lil-Haq continues, the Afghan Taliban are facing international embarrassment on social media after attempting to spread false narratives about the conflict.

Following a decisive response by Pakistani forces to unprovoked Taliban aggression, the group turned to online propaganda, claiming that the debris of a Pakistani fighter jet shown on social media was evidence of their success.

However, the British broadcaster BBC has exposed these claims, confirming that the images being circulated actually date back to 2025 and show the wreckage of a training aircraft, unrelated to the current Pakistan-Afghanistan tensions.

Experts say the Taliban are attempting to use misleading posts to cover up significant losses suffered on the battlefield. The widely circulated images, they note, do not reflect any recent events but are part of a failed effort to manipulate public perception and hide their setbacks.
