Orphaned girl allegedly gang-raped in Lahore

LAHORE: An orphaned girl in Lahore was gang-raped and then blackmailed under the guise of a job offer. The incident came to light when the girl bravely approached the police, seeking justice against the unknown perpetrators.

The incident took place in Lahore’s Rawaind Lahore.

According to the police, the girl, who had lost her parents, was living with a female relative. In her quest for employment, the relative provided a contact number to assist in the job search. The girl then contacted the man, who later picked her up and took her to a residence.

Upon arriving at the house, the girl encountered another individual. After both consumed alcohol, they subjected the girl to rape.The Lahore Police have registered a case against the unidentified culprits and initiated a thorough investigation. Authorities are actively gathering evidence and pursuing leads to apprehend the accused individuals, ensuring that justice is served in this reprehensible crime.
