ISLAMABAD: Pakistan batter Sahibzada Farhan has become the highest run-scorer in a single edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, surpassing the previous records held by Virat Kohli and Babar Azam. Kohli had scored 319 runs in the 2014 edition, while Babar made 258 runs in the same tournament.
Farhan has led Pakistan’s batting chart in the ongoing event and currently holds the record for most runs in a single T20 World Cup edition.

Earlier in the tournament, he scored 220 runs in his first four matches and was the leading run-scorer at that stage. His performances included an unbeaten 100 against Namibia, along with innings of 73 against the USA and 47 against the Netherlands. He also registered a duck against India but maintained an average of 73.33 during the group stage.
