PAK VS AUS T20: PM, PCB chief praise Shaheens after 3–0 win over Australia

LAHORE: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif and PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi congratulated Pakistan’s national cricket team on producing a stellar performance in the PAK VS AUS T20 series.

Pakistan won all three PAK VS AUS T20 clashes to secure a 3–0 clean sweep, giving an impressive reflection on the team’s overall form ahead of the India and Sri Lanka co-hosted ICC T20 World Cup.

PM Shehbaz Sharif lauded the squad, emphasising their skill, discipline, and hard work. He said in his appreciation statement, “The national team’s outstanding performance in batting, bowling, and fielding has made this victory possible.” To this, he also added, “I commend the PCB Chairman, the players, and the entire team management. We hope this impressive streak of success continues in the future”.

Similarly, the Pakistan Cricket Board Naqvi also went in person to the ground, meeting with all the players after the Greens delivered their outclass performances at the crease.

While praising the players, the PCB chairman said, “The players displayed excellent teamwork throughout the series. This success is the result of their tireless effort and relentless determination.”

The statement also added, “I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the head coach, captain, and all the players. Defeating a strong team like Australia in three consecutive matches is truly commendable.”

The clean sweep highlighted Pakistan’s growing strength in international cricket. The Shaheens’ commanding display not only thrilled cricket fans but also boosted the team’s confidence ahead of upcoming international assignments.
