Pak vs Australia ODI series: match officials announced

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday announced the match officials for the three-match ODI series between Pakistan and Australia, scheduled to be played in Rawalpindi and Lahore from May 30 to June 4.
Sri Lanka’s Graeme Labrooy, who featured in nine Tests and 44 ODIs between 1986 and 1992, will serve as match referee for all three ODIs.
The on-field umpiring panel includes Pakistan’s Ahsan Raza, England’s Richard Kettleborough and Sri Lanka’s Kumar Dharmasena, all members of the ICC Elite Panel of Umpires.
The series will open with the first ODI at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on May 30, where Dharmasena will be joined by Pakistan’s Asif Yaqoob (ICC Emerging Umpires Panel) as on-field umpires. Richard Kettleborough will serve as third umpire, while Faisal Khan Afridi will be fourth umpire.
The second ODI will be played at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on June 2, with Kettleborough and Faisal Khan Afridi standing as on-field umpires. Kumar Dharmasena will act as third umpire, while Asif Yaqoob will be fourth umpire.
The third and final ODI, also in Lahore on June 4, will be officiated by Kumar Dharmasena and Ahsan Raza as on-field umpires. Kettleborough will be third umpire, while Nasir Hussain will serve as fourth umpire.
Pakistan’s Nasir Hussain, a member of the ICC International Panel of Umpires, will take fourth-umpiring duties in the final match.
