COLOMBO: The 2024-2025 ICC T20 World Cup Champions, India, gained a 61-run victory after Pakistani batters were crushed in 18 overs while trying to chase a 176-run target, as three of the Greens’ were crushed for ducks, which created an unavertable pressure over Pakistan.

India spilt magic when their bowlers took on Pakistani batters, “playing the first class of the performance.”

Indian top-notch batter Ishan Kishan was awarded Player of the Match as he scored 77 off 40 balls while posting 175-run massive against Pakistan. While defending their total, Varun Chakaravarthy, Hardik Pandya and Jisprit Bumrah also played magic with the ball, each picking up 2.

In his interview, Shaheens Skipper Salman Agha said, “The execution by spinners was missing, but when you pick three or four wickets in the power play, you always win. “To be very honest, the ball was gripping, and in the second innings, I believe, they had built stronger pressure with the balls. However, we have more games ahead, and we look forward to winning them to qualify for the Super Four ahead.”

Shaheens failed to give a satisfactory response while trying to chase India’s 176-run target, as Pakistan lost nine of the team’s wickets, with lower-order Faheem Ashraf downed for 10 while Abrar Ahmed went for a duck, amid their unconvinced attempt to chase the T20 World Cup champions’ invincible target tonight.

Babar Azam was picked up by Axar Patel for 5 (7 balls), which left Pakistan in the PAK VS IND LIVE match in trouble, with remaining hopes only attached to the team’s lower order, who also by then couldn’t provide any satisfactory addition.
