Pak vs India: Four arrested for selling fake tickets

WEB DESK: Four people have been arrested in India for selling fake tickets to the highly anticipated ICC World Cup match between Pakistan and India, scheduled to be played on October 14th at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
The Ahmedabad City Detection of Crime Branch (DCB) arrested four people from the Bodakdev area on Tuesday, confiscating at least 150 fake tickets for the Pakistan vs India match. Additionally, they seized various machines used to produce these fraudulent tickets.

According to an official from the police department, three of the four accused are 18 years old, while the fourth individual is 21 years of age.
The police’s preliminary investigation revealed that the accused initially acquired an authentic match ticket. Subsequently, they produced duplicate tickets by editing a scanned copy of the original ticket using Photoshop software, which was done at the shop belonging to one of the accused.
Both the Pakistan and India teams have secured victories in their first two matches of the World Cup, showcasing their excellent form. As a result, this upcoming match is expected to be a highly intense and thrilling competition.
