WEB DESK: A contingent of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has arrived at Saudi Arabia’s King Abdulaziz Air Base to take part in the multinational air combat exercise Spear of Victory, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Monday.
The PAF team is participating with its full operational capability, including F-16 Block 52 fighter jets, demonstrating the force’s readiness and ability to conduct nonstop long-range operations. The exercise provides an opportunity for the PAF to showcase its professional expertise in a modern combat environment.
According to the ISPR, the exercise brings together air forces from ten countries, reflecting regional and global military cooperation. The PAF’s participation underlines Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing interoperability and fostering defence collaboration with partner nations.
Officials said the deployment to King Abdulaziz Air Base and active involvement in the exercise highlights the operational capabilities of the PAF and its proficiency in complex, multinational training scenarios. The exercise also serves as a platform for sharing tactical knowledge and strengthening bilateral and multilateral defence ties.
“Participation in Spear of Victory demonstrates Pakistan Air Force’s professionalism, combat readiness, and commitment to regional security,” the ISPR statement said, emphasizing that such engagements reinforce both strategic partnerships and operational experience.
The exercise is expected to continue over several days, providing participating nations with advanced training opportunities in coordinated air operations and contemporary combat strategies.
