Pakistan and Saudi Arabia vow to deepen strategic ties following high-level Jeddah summit


WEB DESK: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman have reaffirmed the “unshakeable” bond between their two nations during a restricted high-level meeting in Jeddah.

According to Dawn News, the official visit, aimed at fortifying the long-standing fraternal ties between Islamabad and Riyadh, saw both leaders engage in extensive discussions regarding the volatile regional security situation and the expansion of bilateral economic cooperation. Amidst shifting geopolitical dynamics, the meeting underscores a mutual desire to transform traditional diplomatic relations into a robust, modern strategic partnership.

A shared vision for regional stability

During the restricted session, Prime Minister Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan’s “unwavering solidarity” with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, particularly in its role as a pillar of stability within the Middle East.
