WEB DESK: The 50th Chief of the Army Staff Polo and Tent Pegging Championship 2025, hosted at the Jinnah Polo Fields in Lahore, concluded with a grand closing ceremony, showcasing Pakistan Army’s tradition, discipline, and sporting excellence.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir attended the ceremony as the chief guest, with the Interior Minister and Punjab Chief Secretary also present. Upon his arrival, he was welcomed by the Corps Commander Lahore and the Chairman of the Pakistan Polo Federation.
The championship featured eight competing teams, reflecting both competitive spirit and professionalism. Peshawar Corps secured first place, while Gujranwala Corps finished second. During the closing event, Field Marshal Munir personally awarded prizes to the winning players, commending their dedication, skill, and commitment to upholding the Army’s sporting legacy.
The event not only celebrated athletic talent but also reinforced the Pakistan Army’s long-standing emphasis on teamwork, discipline, and excellence in sports.
