Pakistan produced a dominant bowling performance to dismiss India for 208 in their Under-19 Asia Cup Group A encounter in Al Amarat, Oman, on Sunday.

India were bowled out for 208 in 46.3 overs after Pakistan’s bowlers kept the opposition under pressure throughout the innings. Pakistan now need 209 runs to win the crucial group-stage match.

After winning the toss, India opted to bat but suffered an early setback as captain Lakshya Raichandani was dismissed for a duck in the opening over.

Arjun Rajput led India’s recovery with a brilliant 107 off 85 balls, smashing 11 fours and five sixes. However, he received little support from the other end, with Aryavir Sehwag scoring 22, Kavya Paresh Patel 23, Manal Chauhan 11 and Anvay Dravid 10.

For Pakistan, Ali Raza, Rizwan Allah and Naqab Shafiq claimed three wickets each, while Mohammad Sami picked up one.
