Pakistan hockey team secures spot in World Cup Qualifying Round

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s hockey team continued its impressive run by qualifying for the World Cup qualifying round.
The national team defeated Bangladesh 0–8 in their second match, further strengthening their dominance in the series.
In their opening match of the qualifiers, Pakistan had defeated Bangladesh 8–2.
Sufyan Khan and Rana Waheed scored two goals each, while Rana Waleed, Imad Butt, Hannan Shahid and Afraz Khan contributed one goal apiece.
Pakistan maintained pressure from the very start, playing with an aggressive strategy that left Bangladesh with little room to recover.
Sources said that with back-to-back commanding wins, team morale is high and players are determined to deliver a strong performance in the World Cup qualifying round.
The third and final match of the Pakistan–Bangladesh series will be played on November 16, where the national team will aim for a clean sweep.
