Pakistan military continues Operation Ghazab lil-Haq against Afghan Taliban in S Waziristan

Islamabad: The Pakistan Army has carried out targeted operations against Afghan Taliban and Fitanah-ul-Khawarij positions in Shawal, South Waziristan.

Security sources said the army struck an Afghan Taliban post in the area, forcing militants to flee. The post was destroyed using explosives.

The Pakistan Army is continuing operations against Taliban hideouts and military installations along the border, sources added, saying the offensive is part of ongoing efforts to maintain security in the region.
