Pakistan Navy test fires ballistic missile capable of striking sea and land targets

RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Navy has successfully test fired a domestically developed ship-launched anti-ship ballistic missile.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the missile is equipped with advanced technology and is capable of hitting both sea and land targets with high precision.
The ISPR said the locally developed ship-launched anti-ship ballistic missile features a state-of-the-art guidance system and modern manoeuvring capabilities, enhancing its operational effectiveness.
Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf, along with senior scientists and engineers, observed the critical test firing. The successful trial demonstrates Pakistan’s technical expertise and the Navy’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding national interests.
President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, field marshal and service chiefs have congratulated the units, scientists, and engineers involved in this milestone achievement.
