WEB DESK: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has formally reached out to the Islamic Republic of Iran to convey Pakistan’s profound condolences following the martyrdom of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
According to Urdu Point, in a diplomatic communiqué that balances solemnity with a forward-looking perspective, the Prime Minister extended his heartfelt sympathies to His Eminence Mojtaba Khamenei, while simultaneously offering congratulations on his assumption of the responsibilities as the Supreme Leader.
This high-level exchange underscores the deep-rooted ties between the two neighbours during a period of significant regional transition.
A renewed commitment to the brotherly bonds of Islamabad and Tehran
The Prime Minister’s message served as a firm reaffirmation of Pakistan’s solidarity with the people of Iran during this time of national mourning.
