Pakistan, Romania reaffirm ties as Dar, Toiu discuss regional diplomacy

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with his Romanian counterpart Oana-Silvia Toiu, during which both sides discussed bilateral relations and ongoing diplomatic efforts on the global stage.

During the call, the Romanian foreign minister appreciated Pakistan’s role in facilitating recent talks in Islamabad, acknowledging Islamabad’s contribution to promoting dialogue and easing tensions in the region.

The two leaders welcomed the growing positive momentum in Pakistan-Romania relations and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation across multiple sectors. They emphasised the importance of sustained engagement to deepen ties and explore new avenues of collaboration.

In addition to bilateral matters, the conversation also covered key regional and international developments. Both ministers underscored the need for continued dialogue and diplomacy as essential tools for resolving conflicts and maintaining global stability.
