Pakistan sends 100 tonnes of relief aid to flood-hit Nepal

WEB DESK: Pakistan has dispatched 100 tonnes of relief assistance to help the people affected by devastating floods in Nepal, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said.

The relief consignment includes tents, blankets, hygiene kits and essential medicines, the deputy prime minister said in his statement posted on X on Sunday.

The foreign minister said Pakistan stands with the affected families in Nepal and shares their grief during this difficult time.

He added that Pakistan expresses solidarity with Nepal’s government and its people and is ready to provide all possible assistance to help them cope with the aftermath of the floods.

“Pakistan stands in solidarity with the Government and people of Nepal and remains ready to extend all possible support in this difficult hour.”

Pakistan has dispatched 100 tons of humanitarian assistance to Nepal, comprising tents, blankets, mats, hygiene kits and medicines, to support communities affected by the devastating floods and landslides.
