Flights from Pakistan to the Middle East were canceled for a second consecutive day on March 1, leaving thousands of passengers stranded amid escalating tensions in the region.

Authorities reported that a total of 58 flights from Pakistan to the Middle East were canceled. Lahore saw 13 flight cancellations, Islamabad had 23, Karachi 18, and Faisalabad 4.

The cancellations come in the wake of recent attacks on Iran, which prompted countries including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait to close their airspace. Airlines are currently working to reschedule affected passengers, though widespread disruptions are expected to continue until the situation stabilizes.

Passengers are advised to stay in contact with their airlines for updates and alternative travel arrangements.
