Pakistan to host women’s U19 tri-series with Sri Lanka, Bangladesh

Pakistan will host Uder-19 T20I tri-series involving Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh starting from October 2 to 16, according to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
According to the PCB, the tri-series will feature 10 matches, with all matches to be played at Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad.
Each match is scheduled to start at 10 O’clock in the morning, the national cricketing body added.
The series will feature a triple round-robin format as part of the teams’ preparations for the upcoming Asia Cup and World Cup.
Each team will play six T20 matches, while the top two sides will meet in the final on October 16.
Sri Lanka’s Under-19 squad will arrive in Pakistan on September 28, while Bangladesh’s team will reach the country on September 29.
The Pakistan women’s Under-19 squad has also been announced for the tri-series, with Fizza Fiaz named captain.

Qamrosh Farhan, Pakiza Shabbir, Malaika Sihani and Afsheen Khan have earned their maiden selections in the Pakistan Under-19 squad.
Pakistan will begin its training camp from Wednesday at Boranwala Ground and Iqbal Stadium.
Meanwhile, the Bangladesh and Sri Lanka teams will train at Iqbal Stadium from September 29 to October 1.
