Pakistan unveils official Kit for T20 World Cup

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Sunday unveiled the official kit of the national cricket team for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup in a special ceremony attended by players and officials.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi graced the event and extended his best wishes to the national side, expressing strong hope that the team will return home as world champions. “I hope the national team brings the World Cup trophy back to Pakistan,” he said while addressing the ceremony.

Naqvi said the team is currently in good form and expressed confidence in their performance at the mega event. “The national team is playing well and will perform even better in the World Cup,” he added.

Team captain Salman Ali Agha, along with star players Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi, were present at the unveiling ceremony. Naseem Shah, Abrar Ahmed, and Faheem Ashraf also attended the event, showing unity and excitement ahead of the global tournament.

The newly launched kit has been named the “Markhor Edition,” symbolising strength, resilience, and pride. Pakistan’s national animal, the Markhor, has been prominently featured in the design, reflecting the fighting spirit of the team.

The official World Cup kit carries Pakistan’s traditional colours, dominated by light green shades, blending heritage with a modern look as the team prepares to represent the nation on the world stage.
