Pakistani boxer Muhammad Waseem wins WBA Gold Bantamweight Title

LAHORE: Pakistani boxer Muhammad Waseem has won the WBA Gold Bantamweight title at the Second International Boxing Championship, Fight for Glory, held in Lahore.

Waseem put on an outstanding performance, defending his honor by defeating a tough Thai opponent in a 12-round final. The match was intense, but Waseem remained calm and expertly countered his rival’s attacks throughout the fight. Spectators witnessed a fierce contest as both boxers fought for dominance.

In the final, Waseem beat Thailand’s Jakrawat Majungo. After the loss, Majungo was visibly emotional and in tears.

After his victory, Waseem thanked the Pakistan Army and Punjab government for their support and dedicated his win to the martyrs of the Pakistan Armed Forces. He said the title brought honor to Pakistan and expressed gratitude to everyone who attended the event.

The Fight for Glory Championship concluded today, featuring 44 boxers from 15 countries in Pakistan’s first international boxing event.
