ISLAMABAD: A video featuring Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf engaged in a heated verbal confrontation with a fan in the United States has gone viral on social media.

The altercation, captured on video, shows Rauf remarking “Indian hoga” (he must be Indian), prompting the fan to respond, “Pakistani hoon” (I am from Pakistan). The situation quickly escalated, with both parties exchanging expletives before bystanders intervened to prevent the clash from turning physical.

This incident comes in the wake of Pakistan’s early exit from the T20 World Cup, where the team failed to progress to the Super Eight round, leading to severe criticism from fans and media alike.

Following the tournament, several key players, including captain Babar Azam, Mohammad Amir, Imad Wasim, Shadab Khan, Azam Khan, and Haris Rauf, have opted to spend time in London with friends and family before heading back to Pakistan. There are also speculations that some of these players may participate in local leagues in the United Kingdom during their stay.
