Pakistani rupee falls 3 paisa against US dollar

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistani rupee (PKR) edged down by paisa, US dollar (USD) in Monday’s interbank market, closing the day at PKR 277.87 USD, slightly lower than the previous close of Rs277.84.

Separately, After three consecutive days of gains, gold prices in Pakistan saw a decrease on Monday, mirroring a drop in international market rates. In the domestic market, the price of gold fell by Rs 600 per tola, settling at Rs 271,900.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold declined by Rs 471, bringing it to Rs 233,110, as reported by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
