WEB DESK: Pakistani Twitter users are not happy with Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai’s statement on the Israel-Palestine issue.
“I join the call for an immediate ceasefire. As I have processed the tragic news of the past days, I think of the Palestinian and Israeli children caught in the middle,” said Malala in a statement issued on ‘X’, formerly known as Twitter.
Malala continued by saying, “I was only 11 years old when i witnessed violence and terrorism.
“War never spares children — not those kidnapped from their homes in Israel, not those hiding from airstrikes or without food and water in Gaza,” added Malala.
“Today, I am grieving for all the children and people longing for peace and justice in the Holy Land,” she added.

Once this match is over, I would like you all to pay attention to the fact that Malala has just 'both-sided' what's happening in Gaza

Expected a better stance from Malala on this. Yes peace must prevail but not at the cost of constant oppression on Palestinians by Israelis! https://t.co/975Z1li3m0
