RAWALPINDI: The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir met with His Highness Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Advisor of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), in Abu Dhabi today.
The meeting was aimed at further solidifying the longstanding partnership between the two nations. During the high-level meeting, FM Munir and Sheikh Tahnoon explored opportunities to enhance bilateral cooperation across key sectors, with a particular focus on economic collaboration, investment, and security.
The discussions also touched on regional developments, where both parties reiterated the need for continued coordination to ensure peace and stability in the broader Middle Eastern and South Asian regions.
STRENGTHENING HISTORICAL TIES
Field Marshal Asim Munir expressed deep appreciation for the UAE’s unwavering support to Pakistan’s economy and security over the years.
