
Pak security impacted by TTP sanctuaries in neighbouring country: Army

ISLAMABAD: On Monday, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir presided over the 258th Corps Commanders’ Conference, an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) news release said.
The statement by the country’s media wing further read that Pakistan’s security is at risk from banned Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP) and other terrorist groups.
COAS, during the meeting, said that the armed forces should always be prepared to tackle any threats to national security.
The Army’s top brass also paid tribute to young soldiers who have made great sacrifices against terrorism and presented them with the highest accolades.
The conference was given a detailed briefing on the internal security situation.
