X-rays conducted in the jail unveiled the rib fracture and other injuries, prompting a medical evaluation by senior doctors from Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, Islamabad, and Benazir Bhutto Hospital Rawalpindi, including specialists in general surgery, cardiology, and orthopedics.
The medical team has recommended a two-week rest for Elahi, as stated in the report submitted by the Adiala jail superintendent to the Anti-Terrorism Court in Islamabad.
