PCB Chairman Naqvi arrives in Colombo for ICC meeting

COLOMBO: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has arrived in Colombo for the International Cricket Council (ICC) meeting scheduled for Sunday, with participation expected from all cricket board heads, sources report.

Approval of the budget for the 2025 Champion Trophy, which Pakistan is slated to host, is anticipated during the meeting.

Amid speculation about India’s non-participation in the Champion Trophy, Mohsin Naqvi is expected to meet with BCCI Secretary Jay Shah.

Discussions regarding the organisation of the Champion Trophy in Pakistan are also likely to take place during the ICC meeting, sources further indicate.
