PCB refutes news reports formation of disciplinary committee

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced a shift back to one-year central contracts for national team players, based on performance on Monday.

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has firmly refuted recent reports about the creation of a disciplinary committee.

In a statement, the PCB clarified, “No disciplinary committee has been formed, nor has any decision been made to take action against any cricketer.”

The PCB further emphasised, “The news about the formation of the committee and the task of making a report are baseless and contrary to the facts. The news regarding the imposition of bans and fines on players is fabricated.”
