Players will be categorised based on a defined selection process, with mandatory participation in domestic cricket and regular fitness checks.

Top players such Babar Azam and Shaheen Afridi fall under category A, earning Rs4.5 million monthly. Whereas category B players such as Shadab Khan will receive Rs3 million monthly.

Category C and D players will earn between Rs750,000 to Rs1.5 million monthly. The salaries are supplemented by match fees, win bonuses, and sponsorship perks.

The PCB also stated that it will issue non-objection certificates (NOCs) to players for international leagues, with promotions contingent on their fitness, performance, and discipline.

The board warned of a zero-tolerance policy for indiscipline and grouping within the team, with strict actions planned for offenders.
