KARACHI: In a strange development, authorities have apprehended four individuals, including three law enforcement officers, on suspicion of pilfering copper wire from the Pakistan Steel Mills premises in Karachi.

Reports from the police indicate that the trio of policemen were stationed at the Steel Town police station and are believed to have been directly implicated in the illicit removal of copper wire from the Steel Mills.

Identified as Police Constable Muhammad Ali Arshad, Abdul Ghafoor, and Saqib Nazir, alongside a civilian accomplice named Bilal, the suspects were promptly detained following the discovery of their involvement in the theft operation.

Authorities have confirmed the initiation of legal proceedings against all implicated police personnel, with ongoing investigations aimed at uncovering further details surrounding the incident.
