LAHORE: Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, the Central President of Tehreek-e-Insaf, made criticized the alleged mandate theft during an informal conversation with journalists following his court appearance.
Emphasising the public’s overwhelming support for former prime minister Imran Khan, Elahi accused political adversaries of undermining the democratic process.

Elahi expressed disdain for what he perceives as attempts to subvert the will of the people in Gujarat, Mandi Bahauddin, and Talagang.
Elahi condemned interim chief minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi and his political faction, labeling them as the “real mandate stealers.” Asserting his commitment to protecting the public mandate, he vowed to confront any challenges posed by adversaries, including the alleged vote stealers.
“Former PTI chairman was the people’s prime minister, is still today and will be tomorrow,” declared Elahi, highlighting the enduring popularity of the party’s leadership among the populace. He urged the public not to lose faith, reassuring them that justice would prevail.

Elahi warned against the repercussions of mandate theft, arguing that those responsible lack the legitimacy to govern in the nation’s best interests. He criticised the opportunistic alliances formed by political rivals, accusing them of prioritizing personal gain over national welfare.
