Peshawar board releases 11th grade annual exam results

PESHAWAR: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar has announced the results of the 11th grade annual examinations.
According to board officials, a total of 66,695 students appeared in the exams conducted across five districts: Peshawar, Charsadda, Khyber, Mohmand, and Chitral. Out of these, 29,387 students passed, while 37,308 failed.
Officials further stated that 24,136 of the unsuccessful students were female.
The Education Department has announced an investigation to determine the causes behind the high number of failed students.

Earlier in September, BISE Peshawar announced the results of the intermediate examinations. A total of 62,322 candidates appeared in the FA/FSc examinations, of which 44,902 passed, putting the overall pass percentage at 72. As many as 17,420 candidates were declared unsuccessful.
Breaking down the groups, out of 33,317 candidates in the FSc medical group, 25,794 passed with a success rate of 77 per cent. In the engineering group, 2,103 out of 3,586 passed, recording a 59 per cent pass rate.
Punjab board to announce intermediate part-1 result on Oct 15
In the arts group, 11,603 of 14,893 candidates passed, showing a success rate of 78 per cent, while in the computer science group, 5,402 of 10,526 passed, with a pass percentage of 51.
MULTAN BOARD RESULTS EXPECTED NEXT WEEK
Meanwhile, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Multan is scheduled to announce the results of the second-year examinations on September 18.

According to board representatives, position holders will be announced a day earlier, on September 17.
A total of 102,000 candidates appeared in the exams. Result cards will be issued to students after the announcement of the results.
