Petrol, diesel prices hiked as govt announces fresh rates

WEB DESK: The federal government has increased the prices of petrol and High-Speed Diesel (HSD) after the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) issued its revised notification on Tuesday.

According to the notification, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs1.12 per litre, while the price of HSD has gone up by Rs1.11 per litre.

Following the increase, petrol will now be available at Rs343.10 per litre, while the new price of HSD has been fixed at Rs371.80 per litre.

The revised prices of petroleum products will remain in effect on August 26 and 27.
