Petrol price cut, diesel rate increased after fresh prices announced

WEB DESK: The federal government has announced fresh petroleum product prices, reducing the price of petrol while increasing the rate of high-speed diesel (HSD).

According to a notification issued on Tuesday, petrol has been reduced by Rs1.70 per litre, bringing its new price to Rs325.92 per litre.

Meanwhile, the price of high-speed diesel has surged by Rs1.39 per litre, taking the new rate to Rs382.25 per litre.

The revised petroleum product prices will come into effect tonight and will remain in effect until a new announcement, which is expected tomorrow.
