The case was heard by Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim and Justice Waqar Ahmed, who addressed concerns raised by Gandapur’s legal team regarding the possibility of his arrest following his nomination as Chief Minister. The court responded by directing law enforcement agencies to refrain from apprehending Gandapur in relation to any ongoing investigations.

During the proceedings, the petitioner’s counsel expressed apprehension about potential arrests, particularly citing the presence of Punjab police in the region.
