PHF raises daily allowance for international tours

LAHORE: The Pakistan Hockey Federation has increased the daily allowance for players and officials on international tours to $110 per day, the federation said on Tuesday.

The PHF said funds had also been allocated for preparations for upcoming events including the Cairo qualifiers, the Junior Asia Cup and the Hockey World Cup.

The federation said arrangements for logistics and travel related to the FIH Pro League and other international tours had also been improved.

According to the PHF, the increase in daily allowances is aimed at ensuring the welfare and dignity of players and team officials as Pakistan steps up preparations for major international competitions.
